Portraits

While I began as an abstract painter, I’m now mostly interested in portraiture. It’s fascinating how the architecture of the human face can actually tell us so much about the sitter: from intelligence to personality. The backgrounds are deliberately flat, without objects to distract the viewer’s gaze.
